this  service. We  started   in  the   earliy   80’s  The   Nandyal   Public   School   that 
blossomed  into  a  Medical  College   providing   Medical   Education   and    Hospital 
Services. It's  a  center  for  learning  with a  host  of  medical  facilities and competent 
faculties  of  national  repute. The  Medical  college  currently  can  accommodate 100 
students  and  also  has  medical  center  with  500  beds.The health care unit, which
houses  the  latest   Medical  facilities  is  a  boon  for  those  in  need. This  facility is 
expected  to  aid  in improving  the quality of life in   the backward  areas   surrounding 
Nandyal. The  institute   provides  an  opportunity  for  students   from kadapa, kurnool
Chittoor Ananthapur and ongole to seek Medical  Education  in  this  culturally diverse
Institute.

Dr.M.Santhi Ramudu is  the joint secreterary of society  for  networking for excellence
in technical education (SONET)  of  Andhra pradesh  in  which all enginnering colleges
in   the  state  are  the  members.  He  is  also  the  chairman  of  video   conferencing 
equipments  purchasing  committee  and   digital  library  of sonet. He is playing major
role   in   the   state   for   the  development  of    technical   education.  Recently   the 
cosmopolitan  university  (university network and Research institute),  Missouri,   USA 
has conferred   h o n or a r y  degree,   d o c t o r   of  philosophy - PhD  in  education 
on  sri Dr M.Santhi ramudu,

Hospitall  and  medical  college  is  a  crown  to  the back cloth of Rayalaseema.The 
General  hospital  caters  to The  Medical  and  health  needs  of  all  the  people  of 
Rayalaseema  and  other  place  in  A.P. And  India  at  large. Santhi  Ram  Medical 
College  and  General  hospital  which  is adorned with  the  highly experienced and 
qualified  staff  and  modern  instruments  like  CT Scan and the colour doppler is a 
giant step in the progress of the economically backward Rayalaseema
