Medical Camp

Santhiram General Hospital has been conducting several health camps in and around 
nandyal region to serve the needy people.with a Motto of "EDUCATION FOR SERVICE" 
and to give "HEALTH FOR ALL"we started conducting Free Health camps at different
 villages,where we provide them free medical services along with drugs.we are 
conducting Medical camps each and every day in all villages of Kurnool District.
Full fledged Mobile teams work on conductiong these camps to serve the needy 
people of this backward rayalaseema region.we are proud to say that, we are the 
only Hospital to conduct Medical camps everyday at village level.Under this program
hundreds of villages were provided with free medical services and drugs.A separate 
Mobile team is being operated to conduct Free Opthal camps at several villages in 
eradicating Blindness,and to create awareness.

              
 

FRESHERS’ DAY CELEBRATED ON 30-9-2005.

Freshers’ day of 1st batch of M.B.,B.S students was celebrated on 30-9-2005 at 3.30 pm to 8.30 pm in the college premises.
  Dr. M. Santhiramudu, Chairman, Santhiram Medical College presided over the function.  Dr. N. Ramachandra Rao,  M.D,
 former professor &Head,   Department    of    Medicine,   Kurnool   Medical   College   and    Superintendent.
Government General Hospital, Kurnool, was the chief guest at this function.  
Our  Chairman  Dr. M. Santhiramudu  in  his  address, advised the students to  work hard to achieve excellence in their  studies,  and asked the students to compete
 for medals / prizes at national and international level. The chief guest  in  his  address  asked  the  students  to  become  doctors  with  compassion.  So that, they 
can serve the patients  and  remove  their  sufferings.  He also   told the students to understand the patient as a whole including his/her socioeconomic  background
 besides the illness, so that, the patients can be treated of their  diseases and also they can be educated to prevent many  diseases.  After  the   meeting, students
 presented excellent cultural events.
